Soul Eater - 26

Summary: Sid tries to get Chrona to come out of her room, but Chrona is afraid of him. Finally, he asks Maka to do it for him. While in the dungeon, they find Marie, who had lost her way. Afterwards, Maka and Marie show Chrona around Shibusen. Chrona’s still afraid of people, and Maka tells her that writing a poem might help, something which Soul finds extremely hilarious. At the same time, Stein is getting hallucinations of Medusa, who is tempting him about the black blood.
Chrona’s poem depresses everyone, even Black Star. So much for that idea.
Maka and Soul are asked to investigate a village which makes Golems, because one has been going out of control. A man tells them that he’s going to lead them to the said golem. Back in Shibusen, Marie goes to Stein to ask him about it. Stein, who had been going mad again because of the Kishin, snaps out of it when Marie arrives. He says that he’s going to research more about it and leaves her in the room, because it’s strange for an old golem to be programmed that way.
Back in the village, it turns out that the man who had led Maka and her group was actually a weapon. His meister is the golem, who he programmed himself. He has hatred for Shibusen, and starts a battle with Maka. Ragnarok tells Maka that they can easily defeat him, and after a discussion about how many candies Ragnarok will receive from this, he and Chrona step in.

Impressions: Funny episode, as usual. Seeing them all cower in a corner after reading Chrona’s poem was just blah - then Black Star comes, talking about how he’s such an awesome ray of sunshine joy or whatever. After he reads it, bam, he’s right next to them and wishing he was never born. Chibi Ragnarok is also so cute. I thought it was awesome how he was all, “It’s not about the candy”, and when Maka’s offer reached fifteen.. oh, it’s about the candy, all right. Chrona and Ragnarok looked pretty cool, stepping in that way to help Maka, even if Ragnarok’s voice is pretty annoying now.
And… I like Marie. I hope she’s going to play a big part soon.
