Just looking at the front page, my guess is that 1 problem contributing to slow load time is that you’re not using thumbnails for your images, which are also pretty large (in terms of file size).

Caitlin:
Actually, all those images are thumbnails. Each of them are only around 20kb, so I don’t really think these images are causing the problem..?

D’oh! Stupid me…click on link =/= view image. >.<

My only other guess is that it’s your server. Using Firebug, I looked at my site and yours. I’ve got some 35KB images that load significantly faster than your 16KB thumbnails, if I’m reading the graph right.

Yeah, I also used Firebug. It’s just confusing because I looked at other blogs on the same host as mine, but mine is just… slower for some reason. Eek, so confusing. (This is Mintie, btw. ^^)

Have you emailed your host to see if he can help you? They have access to a whole lot more information and he might be able to find the file(s) that are causing the problem (if it’s file based, not host based). Anyway, sorry for not being able to help and good luck with finding the solution!

Yeah, I was going to try that as a last resort ‘coz I don’t want to trouble him if I can figure it out myself. XD; Thank you, you did help~

I develop sites, may be I should use this Firebug thing lol. Mintie, come into the IRC channel if you have prob. I’m sure Maestro et al will figure out if it is a server or code issue. It seems fine, so it may have been the general “server load.”
Cheers

Anyway, it’s okay now, the lag is gone~ But thank you.
It’s a plugin for firefox and it’s really easy to use. Haha, I just use it when I can’t figure out why I can’t access some stuff on the net.
Kairukun:
Sorry, your message was marked as spam before for some reason. Anyway, uhm, I think you can find how to somewhere on the site, but I forgot exactly where. I just e-mailed Maestro.
