Tales of the Abyss - 06
Natalia has joined the party - and the final party is complete! I still find it weird to see a bunch of people crowding together and walking all over the place, and also the weird one-strike-from-each-character battle scenes. But then again, what can we expect from an rpg-based anime? I think it’s also pretty cool that they’re still adding random conversations between the characters, but I also think it would be better to give the scenes a better transition - and to improve the pacing, because it’s going too slow. I find it so weird, since the game is long, and they’re taking their sweet time for the story to progress.
More flashback scenes from Natalia, none of which were included in the game, so its an anime-only thing. Frankly, I never imagined her past with Luke to be like this, but I did find it really cute. I’m hoping they also show Guy in the flashbacks, hehehe.
Also, Asch’s face was finally shown in the episode - and he looks exactly like Luke. I still find it weird that they censored his face all these episodes, especially since they didn’t do a very good job with it. Everyone already knew what his face was from the opening. Now, the censoring just made him look stupid. Poor Asch. Next episode is another confrontation with him and the other Six-God Generals.
