To Aru Majutsu no Index - 05
Aaaand, the plot thickens, and Stiyl (what was his real name? I forgot) and Kanzaki now have a personality. Stiyl actually happens to be a tougher character than when we first saw him and he was defeated in a really pathetic way. Why he hates Touma so much in the first place, I don’t know why, but I thought it was pretty funny how he seems so ‘under’ towards Kanzaki. Really, just a few words from her and he completely shut up - or maybe he knew she was telling the truth from the beginning? Who knows. Pretty stupid Touma this episode - he’s all ‘what else have I not touched?’ after he touched nothing but Index’s face. The blushing was cute, though.
I’m looking forward for this arc to end, which is only supposed to be the introduction. I’ve read a couple of chapters of the manga after this arc, and I think what’s next is way more interesting than what’s going on now. Besides, when this show is funny, it’s funny… when it’s serious, it’s serious. Honestly, I’d appreciate more balance but I guess it would also be more difficult to put in some lightheaded scenes right now, considering how ’serious’ the current plot is.
And… Index is kind of creepy right now.
