Summary: The main character of the show is named Ryuuji. The episode starts with him cleaning his house up and cooking for his mother, who was passed out in the dining area. At the same time, a girl named Aisaka has just woken up and is sneezing over and over again. When Ryuuji’s mother asks him to open the window and let the light in, he tells her that’s already open - the new apartment building across has been blocking the sun out. Ryuuji gets unconsciously puts on an angry face because he says it’s the apartment’s faul their laundry is not drying. When she sees the face of her son, Ryuuji’s mother is happy because he looks just like his father - something which annoys him.
On the way to school, Ryuuji accidentally scares a group of guys who gives him their wallets before he can protest. Once Ryuuji gets to school and looks at the new class lists, he realizes that he’s in the same class as his crush, Minori. After he talks to his friend, Kitamura, and Minori, he excuses himself to the washroom - that’s when somebody bumps him, and he realizes that it’s a small girl. Aisaka. Aisaka punches him in the face for it.It appears that Aisaka is actually good friends with Minori, who she tells that she has a bad cold because of dust. Later on, Ryuuji goes back to the classroom because he forgot his bag. He’s surprised to see chairs and desks flying around, and Aisaka is rolling around in the floor. He grabs his bag, but when Aisaka sees him, she starts to panic and tries to take his bag. It ends up with Aisaka giving up and storming out.Later on, back at Ryuuji’s place, he realizes that Aisaka had put a love letter for Kitamura in his bag. He also realizes that it’s empty, calling the girl a klutz. He hears noises and goes to investigate, and it’s Aisaka, who attacks him with a wooden sword, saying that he must forget about the letter. When he’s finally able to tell her that it’s empty, he also finds out that she’s extremely hungry, and he gives her some food. Aisaka is still very embarassed, so to help, Ryuuji shows her a box of embarassing things about his plans for the girl he likes. From this, Aisaka sees a note with Minori’s name on it. Since his mom is coming home soon, he forces her to leave, and agrees to do her bidding if she does. He also wonders why she called him by his first name.
The next day, Ryuuji finds out that she actually lives in the apartment right in front of his room. She orders him to come over, but when he does, he finds a very messy apartment. She had fallen back to sleep, and he proceeds to clean up her house and cook her breakfast. When she wakes up, she calls him names for rearranging her house, but she eats the food anyway.

Impressions: Wow, I actually liked this. I thought I wouldn’t enjoy it any way. I thought it was another one of those slow-paced titles, but it wasn’t, and it was also pretty funny. I like Ryuuji’s and Aisaka’s character very much, especially Ryuuji. He’s one of those incredibly soft characters with a scary face, and I thought he was pretty sweet towards a girl who kept punching him in the face.On the other hand, Aisaka turned out to be a very adorable girl. Kugimiya did a really good job, and I realized that in the scene where Aisaka tried to pry Ryuuji’s bag from him. She was stuttering in a really cute but believable way, and it was also fun to see Aisaka react that way.I know Kugimiya is known for a few roles, but I was looking forward to Horie Yui’s role. Her role was barely supporting for this episode though, so much for that.
Anyway, Ryuuji likes Minori, who’s Aisaka’s friend. Aisaka likes Kitamura, who’s Ryuuji’s friend. Really predictable, but at least they were able to do it in a good way?

Yeah I though Rie Kugimiya wasn’t going to be the perfect person to do it but she did a great job.
