Toradora! - 04
Okay, I guess I was wrong in a lot of levels with my post for episode 03. Hahaha. Anyway, it turned out that the blue-haired girl wasn’t Ami, but the student council president whose name I don’t even remember. Surprisingly, I thought this episode was pretty good. What they did was they mixed the sequence of random scenes from the manga (and the novel?), and I think it was a great idea or else they wouldn’t have much interesting stuff to put in the fillers they’re suddenly bringing in.
In this episode, Ryuuji finds out that Kitamura had confessed to Taiga in the past. If they had followed the sequence of the manga, this would have been placed in the second episode. I remember complaining about it then, but now that I think about it, that would probably have been too soon. Besides, I like how Taiga explains her feelings and about how she wants a picture with Kitamura having the same expression when he confessed to her then. It’s pretty sad when you think about it, and I liked Ryuuji’s ‘wtf’ expression when he found out. I also thought it was pretty cool of Kitamura to tell Ryuuji like it wasn’t a big deal, at the same time it probably also shows how much he isn’t interested in Taiga anymore.
And I’m correct this time. Ami is coming next episode.
